      <title>Error in run Gateway Service - gateway disconnected</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;qlik-data-gateway-direct-access.exe was installed and configured,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;when i run start service i didn't get connected in cloud gateway.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;i found these errors in logs:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Configured QvxLogger with GrpcMockConnector.Logging.MockConnectorLogger, Info&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;System.Net.WebSockets.WebSocketException (0x80004005): Unable to connect to the remote server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;---&amp;gt; &lt;SPAN&gt;System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. (&amp;lt;our Tenant&amp;gt;.qlikcloud.com:443)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;i don't see in Qlik document the ports : 50320,&amp;nbsp;3065&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;why we need this?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;can you help me understand what the issue?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Why do ports 50320 and 3065 appear:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;These are &lt;STRONG&gt;local (loopback) ports&lt;/STRONG&gt; used &lt;STRONG&gt;internally by the &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Gateways/direct-access-gateway-troubleshooting.htm" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Direct Access gateway services&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; (connector agent / health &amp;amp; messaging) on &lt;STRONG&gt;127.0.0.1&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;They &lt;STRONG&gt;do NOT need to be opened on your firewall&lt;/STRONG&gt; and are intentionally not listed as external ports in Qlik docs because they are &lt;STRONG&gt;service‑internal bindings only&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2) What’s actually failing:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Your logs clearly show a failure to establish an &lt;STRONG&gt;outbound WebSocket (WSS) connection to &amp;lt;tenant&amp;gt;.qlikcloud.com on port 443&lt;/STRONG&gt;:Connection to &amp;lt;tenant&amp;gt;.qlikcloud.com:443 failed System.Net.WebSockets.WebSocketException&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Gateways/direct-access-gateway.htm" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Direct Access gateways&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; require &lt;STRONG&gt;outbound HTTPS/WSS (TCP 443)&lt;/STRONG&gt; to Qlik Cloud. &lt;STRONG&gt;No inbound ports are required&lt;/STRONG&gt;, but outbound access must be allowed end‑to‑end (firewall, proxy, SSL inspection).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;3) Most likely root causes:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Outbound &lt;STRONG&gt;TCP 443 blocked&lt;/STRONG&gt; or restricted by firewall.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Proxy / SSL inspection&lt;/STRONG&gt; interfering with WebSocket or certificate validation (common cause).&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Missing &lt;STRONG&gt;proxy configuration&lt;/STRONG&gt; on the gateway server (if your network requires one).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please refer to this &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/Connectivity-Data-Prep/Issue-with-Data-Gateway-Direct-Access-Not-able-to-connect/td-p/2484418" target="_blank"&gt;article &lt;/A&gt;for more information on the same.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;4) What to check:-&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;From the gateway server, confirm outbound access to:https://&amp;lt;tenant&amp;gt;.qlikcloud.com:443&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If using a proxy:
  &lt;UL&gt;
   &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Gateways/direct-access-gateway-troubleshooting.htm" target="_blank"&gt;Configure the proxy for the gateway&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
   &lt;LI&gt;Disable SSL inspection for Qlik Cloud endpoints or correctly configure CA bundle (only required in specific cases).&lt;/LI&gt;
  &lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Ensure your gateway version is current.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;</description>
