Hi RobinB,

As far as I know, this is working as expected, the Cell needs a new row in Word. So far, I could not find a solution.

Instead of using the Cells feature, I would rather suggest "Formulas" or "Variables". You can create a Qlik expression that calculates the total sales and the item sold and use it to create an NPrinting Formula (or import it as a Qlik Variable). You can then just drop the Formula/Variable tag in the Word report. When you preview it, the Formula/Variable tag is replaced with its value and no new row is created.

This will be also much easier to maintain in the future.

Here you can find a reference to Formulas and Variables:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2020/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Formulas.htm

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2020/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Work-with-variables.htm

Hi

I'm quite new to Nprinting.

How to I reference a cell in a Word document, to make it part of the text.

I.e. Total sales for the period was $500, and the total items sold was 10. (where $500 and 10 are the values I want returned from the Qliksense model.

When I enter the following into the Word template, I get the result below:

Total sales for the period was <Sales Table_1_1> , and the total items sold was <Sales Table_2_2>.

Result:

Total sales for the period was

$500.

, and the total items sold was

10.

How do I get it to show as one line?

I have unticked Keep Source Format.

R
