topic TRUNCATE table on SQL Server target in Search the Community

I need to know if there is some type of workaround for QLIK truncating tables in a SQL server target.

In our current situation, we use QLIK to replicate from a DB2 database to SQL Server. Our license only permits us to replicate from DB2 -> SQL server.

We would like to use QLIK to replicate to a SQL server database, then use SQL Server replication to replicate from the first SQL Server database to other SQL Servers.

The problem we encounter is that QLIK will attempt to TRUNCATE a table in the SQL Server target if it is out of sync with the DB2 table. If that SQL server table is used as an article in SQL Server replication, the TRUNCATE is not allowed, and the QLIK replication fails.

Is there a way we can configure QLIK to not TRUNCATE SQL Server tables, and still keep the table in sync with the source table?

Thanks for your consideration,

Steve
