Values doubling

Good afternoon,

I am having some trouble with a set of data. When I import the data, all of the data is coming through correctly, except a few numbers. The numbers that are not coming through are either doubling or quadrupling in value. How can I resolve this issue?

Check that your joins are correct. Duplication of values typically suggests you have e.g. a 2:1 relationship between two of the tables involved in your calculation (or 4:1 if quadrupled, etc).

When you say "joins", what does that mean?

Generally, anything that connects values from two (or more) tables can cause this sort of duplication. It might be a key between two individual tables, it might be two tables that are explicitly joined into one, etc.
