topic charts in QlikView

Hi experts,

I have 2 bar charts and 1 straight table in front end now my requirement is if i make any selections in straight table then only one bar chat will appear? how u can achieve this?

On the Layout tab of the Bar Chart use the GetSelectedCount() function as a Show Conditional expression.

Selections in the straight table will affect the underlying fields and there is not any easy way of detecting that the selection happened in just a particular chart. But you might be able to detect it if you create a particular Alternate State and then you only let this special chart belong to that newly created Alternate State.

You have to do some effort to transfer selections between the alternate state and the default state... before you do you should consider if it will be worth the effort or if you will rethink you requirements.

That might be .... I stress might be a way to get what you want.

can approach your requirement by create alternate states

Settings>Doc properties>Gen tab> click on alternate states button
