Hi,

I have a requirement for scheduling a task based on the arrival of a file which is generated based on the completion of ETL jobs.

I have seen that there is an option for getting this done through EDX Triggers, I have gone through few documents.

But, there are a few things which seems to be unanswered. Please help me get this right.

1. where should we mention the path of the text file to be pinged?
2. Where to place the batch file?
3. Where can we set the time limit on the frequency of pinging the text file and specify the deletion of the file after the task is triggered?
4. what needs to be installed?Where should the files be placed?
5. Will it work on both server and publisher?

Please also let me know if there are any other ways to get this done
