Make Dimensions searchable in Pivot Table

Hello,

Is there any way you can add Search icon to a Dimension in a Pivot Table? It seems that 'Searchable' checkbox is only available for dimensions or expressions in Straight Table whereas for Pivot Table this is not supported.

I tried to add a Search Object for each dimension and put it above the according column in the Pivot table but it doesn't look good from user's perspective. Please advise.

Check

Properties -> presentation ->Click on Dimension -> Select Dropdown select opion

Thanks for advice. This isn't exactly what I need.

The goal is to have a Search icon next to dimensions columns in the pivot table itself. Dropdown Select doesn't meets our user experience needs.

Searching is possible in Dropdown option.

Your client requirement is not really "by design" in qlikview.

you can probably have a button to show a searchable listbox(cyclic group) as a workaround

I think we don't have any control to change that, we have to go with the existing one.
