Hi to All,

Is there any chance to change the Credentials in section access for already implemented section access in Qlikview document either by Developer nor user.

who have the authority to change the Credentials and is it possible to change the credentials after implemented section access.

Please help me out this issue.

Hi Chandra,

it should, but it depends on where the section access details are actuall held, as they could be within the QVW itself OR looked up from an external file. Also, the section access details may be contained in a hidden script with the qvw.

Can you see anything relating to section access it the script?

If the section access defined in the script anyone with access to the script can change it.

If the content is loaded from a excel sheet or QVD file, anyone who can alter the files can alter the section access.

What is the reason you are asking? Have you locked your self out of a file?
