Upgrade sr2 to sr11 in server

Hi experts

i would like to do an upgrade in the server, i have sr2 version(too old) and i want to upgrade to sr11

are there some considereation to have in this upgrade?

are there some back up for any folder that i have to do?

if i have a production test, i have to stop for a while and say to the user that the service and the document will be unavailable during the upgrade? or there are some posibility to not to affect to the users?

i have windows 2008 R2 64bits and Iexplorer 9 in the acces point

Can you clarify the version you are upgrading from ?

Are you looking to upgrade from v11.2 SR2 to v11.2 SR11, or from v11.0 SR2 to v11.2 SR11?

Is your system just running QV Server or Server & Publisher?

Is your system clustered or just a single server?

I have only qv server and there is in a single server(not clustered)

In this case I have found the installation script to be robust and you can run the upgrade with little likelihood of problems.

Obviously warn your users that there will be some disruption whilst the upgrade runs. The advantage is that once complete the system will be up-to-date and will support browsers like IE11.
