Sort order on calculated column

Please could someone assist me in putting a sort on the following data:

CatNo	=Sum (total_inv_line_value*invnewproduct)	ShortDescription
A	63778.16	Blue
B	1005269.22	Green
C	31500	Yellow
D	47914	Red

I need to sort the column which is based on the expression t descending Value.

ALSO Id be very happy if someone could tell me how to show the values (once in descending order) as:

1005269 M

63778 K

47914 K

31500 M

Need to round and have the correct format symbol (M or T)

Emma,

Have you tried to change the sorting options you have in the Sort tab in object properties?

Please attach a sample file for deeper understand of your requirement.

How do you determine if we need to add a M or K?

to sort on the value use the expression option in sort tab and put in the expression you want to sort on. ie the calculation =sum(total...)

o vary between M and k i'm assuming you mean Million of thousand, probably best/easiest to pick the appropriate one and divide by 1000 (or 1000000) and use the number format tab to include k (or M) in the format. note its a small k for thousand not capital.
