Sales Variation Based on Billing Days

Hi Team,

Can any one share some examples of the sales calculation made based on the Billing Days.

To give you more idea about the requirement.

Apr 2014 sales was 12000 and we had 20 Billing days.In Apr 2015 the sales for the month so far is 9000, and we have 21 Billing days and 2 more Biling days to go.

When I want to compare the Current sales with previous sales the calculation should work by below logic

(12000/19)*21

The Billing days are connected to calendar dates and the above calculation should be dynamic based on the date range.

Could you please check and guide me to the right path

Did you tried with networkdays()? It will work for (Mon-Fri)

Hi,

Its not only to do with Networkdays.

I have few countries which follows different holiday pattern.

Hence I want to connect the number of Billing Days based on Date.

Okay, I guess you will have the days only when the sales happened? If I am right you can use Count(Days) for the month. You may need set analysis for this
