Need straight table calculated dimension

Dear All,

Need support to create straight table.

Please find the sample data in attachment. I need to create a straight table with vin's details not reported in previous year i.e. (current year-1). For eg :- now 2015, vin's not reported in 2014. Need to display in table.

Expected output for sample data is given in excel file.

Please guide. Thank you.

Your example doesn't contain a table with the fields name, address, phone and state. Therefore the expected output cannot be realized with the sample data you posted.

I need to create straight table with vin details which are not reported in previous year. Those vin details (Name , address etc) are available in table, that i will manage later. i need to filter only those vin's not reported in previous year in straight table.

Hope you understand my requirement.

use expression in place of calculated dimension.

In my eg : i need to filter three vin's --- EFGH, XYZ, MAD.

Hi,

I would prefer to create a @flag in script editor based on your condition like If(Year = Year(Today())-1, 1, 0) as @noReport (in previous year)

and then use a Set Analysis scenario in Straight Table in expr. {<@noReport = 1 >}...adjust it to your dataset.

I tried your suggestion before itself but output not coming as expected. Because in this case for one vin both '1' and '0' are coming.
