i have 2 xl separeate sheets called

sales.xlsx and budget.xlsx

but in both sheets no of sheets same and sheet names also same and inside the sheet field names also same

now my req is i want create sample application to know the difference between these two xl sheets

in xl sheets i have sheet names like

summary

products

conditions

same sheet names i have in another xl sheet also

but inside the data may be different now i want know what is the different data between 2 sheets ?

You can use the QUALIFY for the Qlikview to prefix the column names with the Table(Sales & Budget) or you can rename the identical column names in the Sales.xlsx and budget.xlsx.

Hi thanks for the reply

i have 2 separate xl sheets sales.xlsx and budget.xlsx

here both sheets contains shhet1 and sheet2

now i want compare between two separate xl sheets different data

dont think both sales and budget are in one xl sheet , both are different

still not understanding pls let me know

I do not understand your question. Do you have problems loading data from the two sheets within the the sales.xlsx and two sheets in budget.xlsx?

Go to Load Script ->Table Files-> Select your sales.xlsx sheet-> in File Wizard: Type in Tables drop down select Sheet1 and use embedded labels etc, finish.

Now you have loaded Sheet1 from Sales.xlsx

Same steps apply to all other sheets.

when i am loading muliple shhets in same excel through for rach loop like

for each vsheets in 'sheet1','sheet2'

load

from ......

it is giving error like biff table cannot located file

and some times unknown file format specifier table

why?
