Hello,

In order to optimize my data model, I qualified every fields with table names. Moreover my field names where already not very user friendly , with underscores, acronyms and stuff.

How can I display a different value for each field in my Active Selections box ?

What i would like is to display something like "Year" instead of "CAL.Year"

Is it possible to use metadata or a lookup system ? How would you do this ?

Thanks a lot

Hi Sabrina,

have you seen the "Alias" command?

May it be useful?

C u,

Stefano.

I am not quite sure whether you can get the desired effect using Alias. Unfortunately to my knowledge it will display the name of the field in the data model.

You can turnoff qualify selectively for certain fields of concern.

Make sure to include the statement "unqualify Year;" prior to loading.

Although this might not be what you were looking for, it might be tradeoff which you can use
