      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi expert, i would like to know why my excel have correct format and in qlikview it seems to be different&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want this to get latitude and longitude&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but the latituted is -53.111111 and in qlikview i see 5311111, do not appear the "." and this not is useful to the geo cordenate&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thank you a lot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fernando&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what could be?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i attached and exampole qvw and the excel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Fernando,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think your problem is similar to the one you had in this &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.qlik.com/thread/158186?sr=inbox&amp;amp;ru=107217"&gt;post&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should check your &lt;STRONG&gt;document variables &lt;/STRONG&gt;for&lt;STRONG&gt; Decimal&lt;/STRONG&gt; and Thousand separators, also check the actual data in the source file (does it contain decimal separators? If so, which is it? etc.) and then you will be able to plot the points in a map.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I believe I used that same data set but with Qlik Sense by the way &lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/happy.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;@Borja&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The data set is different&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My way was:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Open with Notepad&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Save as csv.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem with your original data set has two coma&amp;nbsp; delimited fields after latitude an longitude&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="01-Apr-15 3-36-51 PM.jpg" class="jive-image image-1" src="/legacyfs/online/82715_01-Apr-15 3-36-51 PM.jpg" style="height: 327px; width: 620px;" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you use Robert's previous explanation you will get the coordinates properly formatted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After that, follow the same method I advised on the &lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.qlik.com/thread/158186?sr=inbox&amp;amp;ru=107217"&gt;other post&lt;/A&gt; about geo coordinates (make sure the DecimalSep is correct or use the num# function when loading the coordinates and finally apply the GeoMakePoint function).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
