    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm new to the community so apologise if this is the inappropriate forum or terminology.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have recently started using Qlik in a clients organisation, we have a document published to the access point which we would like users with licences to be able to manually refresh upon a trigger.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question is if a user with a document CAL accesses the document and triggers a refresh which account does the server use to run the query?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would it be the user or the Qlik service account?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help would be appreciated,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jake&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the jobs triggered on the server, will run as services and use the account that's registered to be used for the services. It's never the actual "end user" account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Depends on how you trigger the refresh and exactly how the refresh is performed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you use a user triggered EDX event (or the Qv management console) to reload the job, the reload will run under the QV server or publisher service account. The same applies to a regularly (Publisher) scheduled event.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you allow users to load the qv document into the desktop, via a file share (not open in server), then the reload will be executed on the user's machine under their user account. You can disable this selectively by limiting access through a share, and/or by applying section access and appropriate document security settings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HTH&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jonathan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
