List Box

Hi Guys,

As u can see i have atached a snap shot of the list box ,

My requirement is like if i clear it by defualt it should always get current year and current month selected .Can plz some one through some light on this ?

Detail:

now i have selcted 2014 year and month as jun

When i clear the dashboard it should select the current year and current month .

select current year from list box and go to properties enable always one selected value. same as for month

i have already done this , but when i clear it will remain the same . My requirement is like which ever year and month i select after clearing it has to go to current year and current month

Apply Field level Trigger or on Clear Button Add action Select in Field

try this

Go to Settings -> Document Properties -> Triggers

Select the “OnOpen” trigger and press “Add Action”

Add the Select in Field Trigger (section Selection)

Field: year

Search String: = max(year)

Create a CLEAR ALL button, and under Action:

Add-->Selection-->Clear All
Add-->Selection-->Select in Field then
1. Field: FiscalYear, Search String= "Year(Today())"
Add-->Selection-->Select in Field
1. Field: FiscalMonth, Search string ="Month(Today())"

Just check your date formatting tallies with the output of the Year( & Month( results.

You can try to use Set Clear State functionality, for example.

I tried all the option suggested by u guys but its not working

When i clear still it remains on the same selected month and year

Is the object being populated by an expression as opposed to just field names ?

Remove the '=' from the Field name and double quotes from search string.

Hi,

Try like this

Add-->Selection-->Clear All
Add-->Selection-->Select in Field

Field: FiscalYear,

Search String : = Year(Today())

3) Add-->Selection-->Select in Field

Field: FiscalMonth,

Search string: = Text(Month(Today()))

1. Create a variable

Go to Document properties - > Onchange -> Add Action

Get that variable in a text box

Note : Hide text object by Transparency and font color as white (without printing the variable it will not work ) but thats not the problem.

HI balkumar ,

Iam attaching my QVW , if u look at the fiscal year and fiscal month u can select the vules depending on requirement ,

but when we clear it the selection should go back to current month and current year , as of not 2015 is current year and Apr is current month .

Can u please help me
