QlikView Internet Error:2

Hi everyone

I am having an issue with my QlikView installed on Windows 8 Machine. When I try to fetch data from web I receive Internet Error: 2. Also, when I check for update it says cannot find the URL. Things that I already tried but were not effective:

1. Installed both QlikView for X64 and Windows 8

2. Double Checked my Firewall settings and to make sure system allows connection

3. Change compatibility settings to windows 7

Non of these worked. Please help me solve this issue.

NOTE: I'm a free user using QlikView 11 Personal Edition

can u try using other websites to fetch the data ?

can u try to open URL,

File-Open URL "https://google.com"

if u are able to see,then try with ur URL.

I changed the compatibility to Windows 7. After few restarts and using your advice and opening google URL, it started to work. No logical explanation but it's good that the issue is gone now.
