Google map Application not working on Access Point

Hi All,

i have one Google Map Application which i have created through one Extension i.e. Google Map cluster.

Google map application is working fine at server like i can see the maps at my development application but when i m putting it at server it is not showing anything.

is there any setting for that??

Are you using the IE Plugin OR Full browser Version (AJAX) when you open the document in the access point?

i am using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome to reach access Point

Have you added the extension to your QlikView server? Not only your user account.

You can use the "Alternate Extensions path" if you want to put the files somewhere else.

YES JERRY, i have installed the extension on QV Server,

actually some migration of server was done and right now i have Admin user through which i have installed this extension..

nd what is that alternate extension path means would u pls elaborate?

You use Alternate path if you want to have your extensions in another directory.

Does your QlikView server have Internet Access?

yes i have checked the internet access as well its working fine...

but my question is at development level i.e.in qvw at server google map showing but not on access point

actually the server was formatted some time ago, before it was working fine than after it is giving me error.

till than i have installed the extension i have used and added the few MAP related links to trusted sites.

I don't understand.

You use one account to develop the applications? And another account for the QlikView server services?

If so you have to install the extension for serviceaccount also.

"To run QlikView Extensions on a QlikView Server, the contents of the Extensions folder have to be copied from %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects to the %ProgramData%\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects folder on the server."

Source: Section 24.1 QlikView Server Reference Manual

You also no to ensure that you have 'allows extensions' clicked in QMC - system>setup>security and that you are opening the qvw using Full Browser version (AJAX)

Hi Abhay

Firstly in QMC > User Documents>Select Document>Availability> Click - Full Browser or Small Device Version

When open the document in the access point, click view Details>Click - Full Browser Version.

Full Browser or small Device Version Already checked marked and tried to open on access point the way u mentioned but not worked

i found the soluction for this.

For each Extension added to the QV Desktop will create a folder in the% USERPROFILE% \ AppData \ Local \ QlikTech \ QlikView \ Extensions \ Objects \;

To install your Extensions on the QlikView Server, you will need and Extension Folder are copied to the % ProgramData% \ QlikTech \ QlikViewServer \ Extensions \ Objects.

So, just copy all items in % USERPROFILE% \ AppData \ Local \ QlikTech \ QlikView \ Extensions \ Objects \

To % ProgramData% \ QlikTech \ QlikViewServer \ Extensions \ Objects

And the Extension will work on the server.
