Hi,

This is one burning questions we have. From reading previous posts it also seems to be "one of the most common questions from a new QlikView developer".

Is it possible to pre-define your selection criteria in Qlikview like you do in most Report Writers and Query tools.

We use a system called Open Contractor that holds all our repairs data. It includes millions of transactions. We want to extract information for this system which we can do as we have created an ODBC connection. The problem is when we click reload it is bringing everything through and once it gets to aboiut 500,000 records freezes and crashes. The solution would be do build a pre-define in to say only load A, B and C.

Can anyone help?

Chris

Please check your manual for "Incremental Load", so you slice your data and reloads only last day(or week, or month)
