What’s the ETL capability within QliView specifically for data not stored in a traditional database, for instance Excel spreadsheets? For example, if an important data set about Public Assistance Appeals is stored on a working copy of a spreadsheet, is there an ETL capability to move the data into a data warehouse environment so that multiple reports could be developed against the data set?

Thanks for the help.

Hello Michael,

You create the ETL capability by writing the script in QlikView (saving information as qvd files). The downside of this solution is the data being accessible by QlikView software only. If by multiple reports you meant multiple QlikView applications, then you have your answer.

Best regards,

Janusz Twardziak
