SAP Transport file configuration

Dear All,

my client is having Sap ecc Version 6.0 but for ecc Version 6.0 no transport file available in Document provided by QlikTech

so i configured every thing according to ecc version 4.7. and it is allowing me to make connection but not allowing me extract data from SAP.

giving me script error and i checked my script as well which is right. and working at some other client.

kindly suggest

Hello,

Try configuring it like ECC 6.10 and 6.20 as explained in the manual.

I think it should work.

Check the order of the transports as well. It is pretty important.

If still not working, try to open a case with support.

what should be the order of transport??

and what authorized T-Code required at SAP side to fetch data from SAP.????

error throwing..

testing connection.....

Mismatch Between SAP transport and connector version. please import the correct SAP transport.

unable to retrieve transport version from system.

ID:00 Type: E Number:001 not authorized to use this Function Module.

failed to test connection!

please help i m struck in this.

sap Ecc version is 6.0 and i m using connector version 5.7 ...

According to manual you should use connectors and transports as follow:

4 QlikView SAP SQL Connector

4.1 SAP System

4.1.1 Prerequisites

 SAP BASIS system 610 or later

4.1.2 Installing Transports

Two transports must be installed in the SAP system. These are copied to the following folder on the computer during the installation of the QlikView SAP connector:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Transports

A third transport, used with Roles for the OLAP and/or DSO connectors, is also supplied.

4.1.2.1 SAP BASIS System 4.6

For these systems, use version 5.30 of the QlikView SAP connector.

4.1.2.2 SAP BASIS System 6.10 and 6.20

For these systems, the following transports must be installed in the SAP system:

 E6DK900588(data extraction)

 E6DK900572 (user profile)

Note: For BASIS versions 6.10 and 6.20 version 5.70 of the SAP connector must be used for the Extractor and BAPI connector

4.1.2.3 SAP BASIS System 6.40 - 71x

For these systems, the following transports must be installed in the SAP system:

 E6DK900591 (data extraction)

 E6DK900572 (user profile)

4.1.2.4 SAP BASIS System 7.20 – 7.3x

For these systems, the following transports must be installed in the SAP system:

 E66K900024 (data extraction)

 E66K900027 (user profile)

The transports must be installed in the above order. The first is cross-client, whereas the second is client-specific and has to be installed on all clients where it is to be used.

Hi Emmanuelle Bustos,

i gone thorugh the manual as well but as i mentioned my client has SAP ecc Version 6.0 and according to this ecc version no transport file mentioned in Manual.

In that Case which transport file i should refer???

and what roles should be assigned at sap end??

Look in the manual, it's all there:

Chapter 4.1.3 User Configuration for SAP...

The role is QTQVCACCESS.
