This is gonna seem like a real trivial question.

I am working on a project. There are a load of CSV files on a server. I need to copy these to our QV production server and I am trying to document these steps and because there are so little that I have written down, I was wondering if someone can spot something I am leaving out.

1. Create Bat file for copying CSV files from location to production server

2. In Qlikview, create a loader that can transform the data so that it can be used across all applications.

3. Transform QVD by using applications.

4. Implement and build Application.

This seems really short winded. Can anyone spot something I am missing?

try to add a flow diagram that will add more bioinformatic.

Sure, but seems from where Qlikview is involved, I feel there should be more steps.

In these steps, it seems there should be more involved.

Build and implement application

For any other application that is developed, there must be more steps involved. This is a simple application, just that I feel there should be more steps.

If so write some story with it

1.Create a QVW which reads the csv data from the source server.

2.Once the data is in Qlikview convert it Qlikview native format i.e QVD .

3.to automate this we can schedule a task from the QMC so that the process will be automated.

4.Using this QVD we can build the dashboards and require analysis

That's exactly it.

Its just when I read it to myself, it seemed very trivial and nothing to it. I thought I needed to make it meatier but you've more or less said the same thing as I have. No point in overcomplicating it.
