We have an app that contains a report... the publisher successfully loops thru a field in the app to produce a number versions of this report and successfully writes the PDFs to a network folder. That all works great... problem is it seems that QV is putting security on the PDF's so that ONLY users or groups specified in the task can open the PDFs. We wrote them to a public folder and we want everyone who has access to that folder to be able to open the PDFs. How can we accomplish this? Are we missing a check box or something when we are setting up the task?

I was experiencing the same problem but I found that modifying the windows owner of the network folder modify the owner of the PDFs reports generated. Consequently users can open the PDFs.

Could you test it ? I'm on windows server 2008. I could give you the process to modify it.

Can you please explain what do you mean by modifying window owner of the network?

I'm having the same issues that only QlikView admin (process owner) has the access to QlikView PDF files generated by Publisher.
