Growth % calculation in a Grid Chart

Hi,

I'm trying to create a grid chart with rolling growth%, but so far I didn't find a way to do that.

I have a grid chart with sales information with two dimensions: Vertical -> Region and Horizontal -> Year and sum(Amount) as the only fact. I would like to create a similar chart with the growth percentage -> sum(amount)/sum(amount) of the previous period and same region - 1. The new chart should only display data from 2010 to 2015.

Is there a way to do this in a grid chart?

Is there a way to implement a similar solution for a cycle group of Year->Quarter->Month?

Yes, using similar tables for Quarter and Month. Note that you can't simply use the month number because of year borders.
