Leave sheet trigger clear specific field

I don't think this is possible, but it is often a requirement for me and wondered if anyone knew how to do it?

Often I have a report with a drilldown that makes sense on that sheet, but not on another sheet. However all other selections might make sense on the next sheet in which case I want to clear the nonsensical field when leaving the first sheet but keep all other selections in place.

As far as I can see one can only 'Clear All' as an OnLeave trigger.

Any help would be appreciated.

assuming the field dont have null values

use the action Select in field and leave null value in the search string

Try this to make the ClearField action available (I'm using v9sr4):

Help>About Qlikview>right click on the Qlikview item at bottom left>Extended Actions SR3 - set this to 1>Set>Close>Ok

Why this isnt automatically available I dont know. There doesnt seem to be any help.

Anyone know why or are the options unstable/unsupported?
