Can anyone tell me that Qlikview scripting is which language?

Hi Jana,

Its QlikView scripting language itself.

Apart from this you have Macro's which can be written in VB script or in Java Script.

someone told that qlikview is ''Associative Query Language",is that correct?

Hi,

''Associative Query Language" means when you load the tables and if there is same field name exists then in the table load the fields associated to each other. And behind the working of the qlikview scripting it has its own language and in load script it works from Top To bottom and from Left to right of the script.

QlikView uses AQL in the background, however we write QlikView scripting language.

The functions in QlikView are almost same as functions in Excel.
