Enable scroll into Straight Table.

Hi QlikView Experts,

I have one dimension table, in this table details currently I am displaying table box , but our client looking straight table , I try to display straight table,that’s why I add two dummy expressions and move first column and last column this expressions,I try to enable vertical scroll bar in between dimension values, but scroll bar not available in this table.Please help me

The Vertical scroll bar disappears if there aren't enough records to show. Can you post a screenshot of your Straight Table?

The table box will potentially give you many more records than the straight table, which is why you might not be seeing a vertical scrollbar in it.

If you have 5 dimensions and 1000 rows, the table box will repeat every row and show them all, however if there is duplication across the 1000 rows, the straight table will only show each distinct row once, so giving less than your 1000 rows. You would need to bring in a unique row id to the straight table to give the same output.

Thanks for your response, i am add some dummy record now enable Vertical scroll bar disappears but horizontal

bar not enable in my Straight Table.

If it is your horizontal bar you are missing, that will probably be the age old straight table scrollbar issue, where the scrollbar will only begin from the first expression in the chart. A work around for this is to drag one of your expressions to the first column position in the chart (before your first dimension), this will enable the scrollbar across the whole chart.
