I want to make range slider,with the help of range slider the values in chart will change..kindly help thanks

Hi,

You can select the slider as a representation type in slider object. Under the presentation tab you can set your limits

if select from slider 50000 to 100000 then on chart only the effected bar will selected..no other bar will selected....

For better understanding can you post the sample.

BTW, Kindly do select the values in list box and verify your chart

In Chart properties you can see the dimension tab check the 'Restrict which values....' and in show only write in the value, what you have given in the slider may be a field or a variable. So when moving the slider you can see the impact in the chart

Hi Hammad,

We might need a bit more of a description to understand your requirements. Do you want:

a) The slider to limit the dimensions that are shown to those with a value between 50000 and 100000

b) The slider to make selections in the chart based on the value of the expression

Is your dimension the number you want to filter or is the expression the number you want to filter?

What value are you selecting with slider? and What values in chart you want to change? can you please explain a bit?

i understand can you me example how to restrict the values..

when i move on slider from(10000 to 50000)

only affected values show in chart..thanks

Hi,

have a look at pradeep document.

If you want this to take effect for only 1 chart.

Then create an alternate and place slikder and that chart in the same state.
