Hi all,

I have small doudt in joins. Eg :- Please look below picture.

In 1 case EMPID is the key, what is the key in 2 case ? please clarify. Thank you.

In the second example, EMPNA is the key being used for the JOIN as it is your only common field.

Thanks for the reply. If alias name are there then how it will treat the keys. i.e actual names or alias names or both ?

Hi Varun

The 1st condition is trying to join based on EMPID field while 2nd condition is trying to join based on the name field (EMPNA)

Hi,

In the first join is based on EMPID and in second it is based on EMPNA and you can use both also

Load EMPID,EMPN as EMPNA,SAL from table1;

Left join

Load EMPID,EMPNA,SALA from table2;
