Set Analysis - by Month

Good day everyone,

I was trying to compare two months in a chart, then i thought to use a set analysis, to compare with the previous month selected in the list.

I used this formula below:

=count({$<Month={$(=only(Month)-1)}>} Field)

the problme is that the QlikView is not considering the result as a month, but as day.

For example, when i select October, the result gave to me as 9 but not as month, it considers 9 days and returns to me as 09/01/1900.

Does anyone know how can I create a set analysis by month or how can i compare months?

Is your month field tag? numeric,date or char? If its numeric this may not happen.
