Excel Feature in ADHOC REPORTING

HI all , can you pls help to integrate Excel feature in Adhoc Reporting..

e.g.

i have multi dimension like

year

month

quarter

zone

region

depot

customer

customer code

and so on

i want the flexibility like excel in that

e.g.

Year Month Zone Region Customer Sales

2014 jan East Delhi Xyz 10K

2014 feb East Delhi XYZ 20k

2014 March East Delhi XYZ 30k

now total sale is 60k, and i want flexibility like sum(sales), Avg(sales), count(customer) with the flexibility of choosing any dimension Year,month,zone , region and so on.

can i do it in Adhoc Reporting, this is the same feature when we r creating Pivot table in Excel.

Ashfaq, i think i am not able to explain exactly what i want,

you have given three dimension Company,ID,and Year

and as per my understanding on measure Sum,Avg,Count u have set the condition for sum(sales),avg(sales),count(id).

but what i want is I should have option to select Sales,Collection,Target etc

when i select any dimension like company, year, zone, region etc than i should have one flexibility to see Sum(sales), AVG(sales), Count(ID) and so on.

and in Pivot Table we have one option to show subtotal on Top and Bottom so here i want is if i have select Dimension Zone, region, Company etc and Measure Sales than i should have option to select Avg(Sales) or Sum( sales) and Subtotal w.r.t Dimension should be as per me like if i want to see subtotal w.r.t Zone than i can do this, or if i want to see Subtotal w.r,t Region than i can do this and in a same manner i want the functionality.

Hi,

This is not possible with Qlikview, you can just define the expressions and dimensions to show/hide in the Dashboard.

Instead if you go for qliksense there users can do whatever they wish if they have Update access rights.

I think its a kind of nested ad-hock feature.

It will be complex to achieve.
