How do I open QlikView Management Console?

Hi,

May someone tell me where QMC is located and how do I open it?

Please assume that I have been granted administrative rights to go there.

Hi,

First to all you need to know where is installed QMC (Server Name) and then as you said have administrative rights, then follow next general steps:

1- Go to Server where QMC was installed (use remote desktop) or open your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, ...) and tip server name or server IP + ":" port 4780/qmc (ex. http://MyServer:4780/qmc or http://192.16.1.123/qmc).

2.- If you go to server (machine) using remote desktop click on Start / All Programs / Qlikview / QlikView Management Console

Si hablamos de QlikView y tienes instalado QlikView Server puedes probar esto:

http://<ip server>:4780/QMC/Default.htm

o bien, en caso de estar dentro del servidor, puedes probar con:

http://localhost:4780/QMC/Default.htm

Click on Start or Windows -> All Programs -> Qlikview -> Qlikview Management Console

You need to be part of the Qlikview administrators group mapped to LDAP or windows authentication to access and login to QMC.
