Switch and IF control statement

Could you please give an example of switch and IF control statement.

I know what is control statements,how to use control statement,as per my knowledge Switch and IF control statement can be used interchangeably.

if this is not the case could you please brief me with any example.

Wow !!

I never heard of the switch() function before. I have just had a look in the QV Desktop Help which explains it and has an example. I reckon it could be most useful.

You could have a look at the Help as well if you want an explanation and example.

I have gone thru that.. I understand the function but I want to know when both function will work in same way ....then in which scenarios both (switch or IF ) can make difference.
