topic Link tables by Week Day in QlikView

I have 2 tables that I would like to link by week day and from my various searches it appears that interval match with a calendar may be the best alternative. I've been using Qlikview for about year and this would be the first time I have a need for the calendar and the use of interval match. Another aspect that I believe may complicate the issue is the fact that one of my fields (StoreOpenDay) from the Hours table is not necessarily a date but a numeric value to represent the day of the week which I've converted to week day in the load script, 'Mon', 'Tue','Wed', etc. The other week day field (WeekDay) is an actual date derived from the Orders table. Can anyone provide a simple solution that would accomplish this task? Please see the attached QVW illustrating my issue. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
