ODBC Connections for MySQL QV11

Hello friends,

Actually I am migrating some models from 9 to 11, some of them, use ODBC connections for MySql, those was running fine as automatic reload in the qv9. When I perform a reload from the qv client designer, runs fine, but when I try to run it from the server it fails.

I tried installing & unistalling both releases of MySQL ODBC 32 & 64 bits, without any succes.

I would appreciate so much any help to fix this issue.

Does your connection to MySQL use password? If so you may need to check to see if you are using an integrated password on your local client. Not sure if it the same problem, but we had to add an embedded password for the server to access our sql server. I believe it is “persistent” as opposed to integrated.

Thanks, for your comment, I found the way to fix it.

The problem was in windows server, in the ODBC manager conecctions, I did the DSN configuration with the c:\Windows\syswow64\odbcad32.exe , and now everything is fine.
