Hi,

We would like to analyze the user agent strings we are saving in our database from a client sessions mainly for operating system, browser and and mobile. We looked into downloading a user agent database and parsing it ourself but is there an extention for QV which already built for it?

Thanks

Doron

You don't need an extension for this, but a quite complex piece of script code if you want to be able to parse any user agent string. Perhaps you can use something like Piwik (Piwik Web Analytics Software) to do the heavy lifting for you and use the export feature to create an easy to use source file for Qlikview.
