Per-app VPN

Hi,

I'm trying to configure Qlikview to work with MobileIron's per-app VPN Tunnel. It seems to work well on iOS7 but on an iOS8 device, I'm not having any luck when trying to connect to a Qlikview server over HTTPS. The VPN does fire up upon launch of the app, but then I get a can't connect to server error and when I try to login I get an authentication failure. From looking at the Xcode logs and a packet trace from the iPad it doesn't look like the app is even trying to use the VPN to connect.

I have gotten this to work on an iOS8 device when connecting to a different Qlikview server over http so I'm not sure if there's an issue with support for https and iOS8 over per-app VPN.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Hi Tom,

At the moment, there are a number of known issues with iOS8 that we are working to solve for both the web client and hydrid iOS client app. Once the iOS8 version of both these clients is out, we should revisit this issue and see if the issue persists.

Hi,

we have the same issue with MobileIron and IOS8.

At the Moment it works with using Opera instead Safari, but this cannot be a solution.

Does anybody solve this problem?

Just found that this support is in beta : QlikView Mobile App 2.4 Beta is now available
