Wheb two tables share more than one common field, qlikview create synthetic key,to try and associate both tables through the combination of all of the common fields between them

one or two synthetic are not degrading the performace or disturbing integraty of data. if we understand it its nothing but like a composite key.

but if we have multiples synthetic keys in our model then it will definetely do impact.

i have seen that sometime its even take more time to load data
