data discovery help please...

Hey,

I've been using QV for around 10 days now and I'm running into issues of data discovery.

I'm trying to load data from an ODBC where no data structure is provided, and It's proved to be quite a mission.

the ODBC contains the several tables storing pointers(my's) and collections(all's) etc.

currently I'm just doing the trial and error, its consuming alot of time. I've been lucky to find the data i was looking for (sort of)

BUT! some values don't match and/or missing, so I'm assuming im picking the data up from the incorect places.

so my question is, whats would be the recommended actions for my circumstances? are there any tools i could use?

Hi,

maybe if you tell us which DB or system you're connecting to, some people may know the structure of that DB/System and guide you a little bit,

im trying to connect to "greentree" odbc, corrently connected through a thick client, becuase the thin client crashes alot.
