qlikview server license issue

Today morning when i checked the documents were not available then whe i looked into services i found unlicnesed.

can i know the date of expitry for qlikview license..where can i get more information on that.Please kindly suggest.

Hi,

Prajna this shows that your License is Expired or removed.

To check that go to QEMC --> System --> License --> QlikView Server --> QlikView Server License --> Check your LEF content for Expiry date if any.

Or else you need to Reapply License in case it is removed somehow.

Hi Prajna

This means license is cleared somehow.

Please renter License Information again.

You may have License key and control number, You can use that to re-license your server.

If you can provide me LEF I will tell you Expiry date.

When you Enter

License Key and Control Number in the above fields and hit Apply it will be automatically Generated.

Provided you have Internet access on server.

That means its still valid.

Re apply License.

Make sure you don't have some expiry date like below in your LEF.

TIMELIMIT;VALUE;;2014-01-01

Which is expired entity

Product level 10 is the QV server. The date is the license expire date.

HI,

This means you have valid production License.

and your maintenance is valid till 2014-11-01.

Contact someone from your company who can provide you License key and control number.

In case you don't have Control number and LEF you may contact

Qlik Qoncierge Service with your license key, they will provide you LEF and control number.

Once you have Licence Key Control number and LEF with you. You can Re license your QlikView server.

Have you reviewed your windows user admin consol to ensure you have qlikview set as admin, I had a similar issue which caused a licence lef error -which was not licence related.
