not in the chart just a list box. You could position the list box to the left of the chart to create a similar effect but its not great.

You may use your mouse as well to make selections directly in the chart. Just left-click and drag your pointer to select group of values.

Yes you can select values in the chart, but only one of them

I you need select more than one you need a listbox (see the example)

In this example table are variable depending of selected items

I was referring to selections on non tabular charts like Bar chart. I should have mentioned that

Yes if you click in a bar on a bar chart you also select this value, but only one

You can actually select multiple non-contiguous bars as long as you enable 'web view' mode ( View menu -> Turn on Webview) and hold down the CTRL button as you do the selecting.

Regarding the checkbox though, you would have to superimpose a list box overtop a chart to accomplish the same. Change the layer of your list box to +1 (layout tab properties) . Change the list box selection style to windows checkboxes or led checkboxes. then move the list box over the chart and then you just need to position appropriately

That's just a data island with checkbox as presentatin property.
