Hello Community,

Can its possible to connect QlikView to SAP BEX query.

I have to connect QlikView either to BEX query or to Info provider or to multiprovider or to Cubes.

please suggest me, where to exact i can connect my qlikview in SAP.

Hi,

As per my knowledge, you have to install to sap connector.That connector acts as interpreter between the QV and SAP data.Once you installed the sap connector you will get one folder name TRANSPORTS(mostly in the c drive) .Then there you find 2 transport numbers.That numbers/sap connctor installtion PDF you have to share with the SAP basis team then they will install the transports from theor end.

Finally they will give the credentials to access the various landscapes like UAT/DEV/Prod to test the data.

thanks for your reply. I have that SAP Connector document.

But i don't understand by reading that document at which level qlikview connect to SAP.

whether it is at BEX or Info provider or multiprovider or cubes.

Hope u understand my difficulties.

Open SAP Connector reference manual.

and search of SAP OLAP Connector, it will help you to connect QV to BEX Query of SAP.

Hi,

Can we fetch BW multiprovider into qlikview. As i am able to fetch cube in qlikview.

But while fetching multiprovider query, i am getting error(Custom Read Failed).

Villyee Anderson have u found any solution for the same? Please share.

Can any one help???? !
