how do i detach the sheets.

I mean if i select any field in sheet 1, that should not select any related fields in other sheets apart from sheet 1.

hi Deepak ,

U can use ALternate State Property .

Make two different group and assign the different group to the filters on different sheets.

Best way to overcome this scenario is apply clear trigger on LeaveSheet,

Yes alternate state is best possible solution for this.

Hi Deepak,

Use Alternate States for this.

Go to Document settings> General> Alternate States> add a new alternate state and use it the sheet properties.

PFA the application.

Here when you will be traversing to other sheet the filters will be restored that were selected previously.

Sheet 1>> You select Index=92, Month=04_2014

and when you will go to other sheet you will see the filters that were previously selectd.

Now come back to sheet 1 , you will find the same filters............

Somtimes using Alternate State is not the answer. I have three sheet, each with a drill down table and two list boxes (one for year and another for month). I implemented alternte state and the drill down functionality stopped working. I would like to find a way to break the link between pages without clearing the fields. That way I could jump back and forth and the sheet state remains the same as when it was left.
