How to give recipients information or name in Dynamic Distribution ??

HEy,

While configuring a trigger for a task by Dynamic Distribution ,

Does we have to define a field for recipients in sheet containing data??

LEt say,

I have excel sheet , in which some data regarding disaster is there. Then do i need to define 1 more column in excel sheet say : "Recipients name" that contain names of end users and then in configuring a trigger this column is used for having recipients information. Is it so ??

You need to look at loop and reduce concept for the same.

HOw does loop and reduce helps in this ?

I think , loop and reduce is only used to select the particular fields that should only be visible to end user . Am i right ??

If yes,

then , how does this helps in gettin recepients name in dynamic distribution??

Now, ,if i am not wrong ,

Reduce Tab :: Is used to select the fields or columns that we wish to show to end user

Loop Tab :: Is used to select the recepients to whom we ewant to show the documents by selecting field or column from the Source Document like Email in this case.

Am i right ??

If yes , then will you please also tell me what is dynamic update and how and when it used ?? With example.

You need to start with proper training first.

Take time to read reference manual.

Have a look at free training available in qlikview website, which I suggested you earlier.

Have a look at QlikView videos

Have a look at qlikview videos posted on youtube.

Follow good blogs of qlikview.

Then if you need any help post on community.

I have a question.

As a developer we do not need to do any kind of login for any qvw documents.

But as end user , we need to login to have access to documents that are hosted on accesspoints.

I want to know, is there any login window before opening AccessPoint where end user has to authenticate ??

Where and when end user has to authenticate itself for the qvw documents to see on accesspoint.

Please help.
