How can I host a qvw file that I created? or is there anyway I can collaborate with SharePoint?

You need to publish your report on QV Server.

How about a editing chart object online, does that need to be published on QV server first also or is there a different way..

HI,

If you want end user to edit chart, then yes you need to publish it on server first.

If it is you who want to edit charts, then you can do the same with QlikView desktop without publishing to server.

Provided you have necessary licence.

Server here means QlikView Server.

There is no need for server for two people to share a document. Both users can use QV desktop, but to share files they will need to be licensed. For 2 or 3 people, this will likely work out cheaper than buying QV server.

Hi,

If you want to host it on web then you require server.

To get more info you can contact nearest QlikView partner.

They might give you trial License and installer to test.
