Unable to save qlikview fil

I'm new to Qlikview and I come across a problem while trying to save my document, when click save or save as button , nothing happens. if I attempt to close Qlikview it asks me if I want to save the document, when I click yes it does nothing.

Any help with this would be great

Hi Rohit

Can you please attach your .QVW file so that i can figure out what is that exact issue. might be your file having some constraint that will stop to perform any operation.

Hi, what version are you using?

attach the file?

try to install the last version of the desktop

I am not able to create any new file as it cannot be saved. I can open old files but any changes I make to the file cannot be saved. save is not working. when click save or save as , everything hangs for a minute and then nothing happens. I am using Qlikvie 11.0 SR2

Dear Rohith,

Maybe something is corrupted in the setting.ini file, go here: C:\Users\<YOURUSERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView, look for the file "Settings.ini", rename it. Open developer again, it might ask you for language, select the language and try again.

NOTE: IF you had a license, you might need to apply it again or lease a license again.
