Problem in section access. I want the security by regionwise. please find the attached app. and data.

it seems that you already activated section access, so I can't open your qvw without user credentials

hello ,

U can use attached file.it working fine for me.

if u want to made any change then change on admin login only.

username:admin

Password:admin1

Hi Sunil,

please note that you have to use uppercase in section access and section application for fields you want to use for data reduction.

(See also Security topic in help file, example at the bottom of page).

I fixed that in your script, removed the access table in the section application, please have a look at my attachment.

You might also want to check the security settings in document properties, I think you should prevent users from reload.

P.S. I also added strict exclusion in Tab Opening of document properties, you might change that back if you want.

me again,

I assume, that you want the administrator to see all regions.

I think you should use

admin,admin,admin1,

as row in section access table (leaving Region empty, Null)

If you use * for region, it will limit regions to all regions that are listed elsewhere in section access table, not to all regions in section Application region table (i.e. in the example I posted, admin will only the the two regions of the two users).
