    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Satyadev,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;there is no any specific reason to use set analysis.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have three parameters,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i want to only apply Month end Parameters in the chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other two Parameters selection should not affect on the chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when user select Month end ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then only chart should show results for that month,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;irrespective of the other two parameters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there any other way apart from set analysis ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Set Analysis - issue in P() function</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am new to qlikview.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have below issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;below is the desciption.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have three parameters and one chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to apply only one parameter to the chart ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when user selects parameters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remaining two parameters selections should not affect to chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have use below expression in chart.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;count&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;( {1&amp;lt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Month end]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;= &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;P&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;(&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Month end]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;)&amp;gt;} &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Product]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Below is the Example for Month end parameters.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Month end&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Jan-2014&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Feb-2014&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Mar-2014&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Apr-2014&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Above Expression is working as expected ,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;when i select Feb-2014,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Mar-2014 and apr-2014 and other two parameters selection is not impacting on the&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;chart as expected.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;But, somehow,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;when we select Jan-2014,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Chart does not show any data,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;ven though, we have data for Jan-14.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;does it because there is not any month prior to Jan-2014 ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;what would be work around ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;what modification should i change in above expression ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;=&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;count&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;( {1&amp;lt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Month end]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;= &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #0000ff; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;P&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;(&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Month end]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;)&amp;gt;} &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;[Product]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;any help would be appreciated.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 12pt;"&gt;Thanks!.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;So you are making possible selection and getting count of product. Is there specific reason you are using set analysis here? Can you just use Count (Product)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
