Identify Dimensions and facts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Decide the grain of data to be loaded. (detailed or aggregated).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. If you have more than one fact table, then have a look at below references.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Create design of your data model outside qlikview (on paper or any other design tool if available).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6.
